MPS Families,
Due to unexpected snow moving into our area, we will have an eLearning day tomorrow (Wednesday, January 22). Students will complete activities from a "Choice Board" posted on Class Dojo. There are directions on the "Choice Board" so that families will know what is expected for students to complete. Students will have until next Wednesday, January 29th to turn in their "Choice Board" to receive credit for attending school on Wednesday, January 22. If you have any questions regarding the "Choice Board", reach out to your child's teacher via ClassDojo.
Stay warm & safe!

MPS Families,
Due to the inclement weather moving into our area, we will have an eLearning day tomorrow (Friday, January 9). Students will complete activities from a "Choice Board" paper that teachers will send home today in students' folder. Teachers will also post the "Choice Board" on ClassDojo. There are directions on the "Choice Board" so that families will know what is expected for students to complete.
Students will have until Friday, January 17 to turn in their "Choice Board" to receive credit for attending school on Friday, January 9. Many families completed an extra day of Choice Board activities earlier this school year during our Hurricane Helene days. That extra day of activities can count towards attendance credit for Friday, January 10, 2025, but you will need to communicate that info with your child's teacher. If you have any questions regarding the "Choice Board", reach out to your child's teacher via ClassDojo.
Note - At the primary school level, our students will NOT bring home their school computer for the eLearning day. Instead, students will complete activities on their "Choice Board".
Stay warm & safe!

Principal
Marshall Primary School

Friendly reminder that we have a half day this Friday! Please plan for the 11:00am dismissal.
If your child will have a change in transportation for Friday's 11am dismissal, please communicate the details to your child's teacher as soon as possible.
Merry Christmas!

Oct. 28 - Nov 1 we will be participating in Red Ribbon Week.
Check out what we will learn and how your student can dress up each day!

We look forward to visits from our MPS families on October 31st. See the attachment for details!

MPS Families, We hope that you all are well. We will hold our Book Fair beginning tomorrow. Please review the link to see when your student will shop! Due to previously scheduled events at MPS, we are unable to provide a time for parents to shop at this Book Fair along with their child. We look forward to hosting a spring Book Fair. In the spring, we plan to have an event for parents to shop with their children. Thank you for your understanding!

We hope this message finds you safe and well. Thank you once again for your patience and support during this challenging time. Due to ongoing power outages and impassable roads from the storm, all schools in our district will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 3, and Friday, Oct. 4. These days will not be classified as eLearning days. With only one school currently having power, we believe these additional two days will allow for our electricity to be restored and provide our families and community the time to address their needs and support one another.
Please remember that Monday, Oct. 7, is already scheduled to be a school holiday, and Tuesday, Oct. 8, is a scheduled teacher workday. Therefore, students will return to school on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting one another. Stay safe!

Calling all MPS Families! We will be handing out Emergency Food Packs tomorrow morning (Wednesday 10/2) from 10-11AM "drive thru style" along the front sidewalk of the school. Also, our PTO has purchased non-perishable snack items to give out. These are free food items for our MPS families that we will distribute until we run out. We hope you all are safe and want to provide some relief to those in need.
