
Students in Mrs. Skinner’s WIN Time worked through constructing explanations and designing solutions. The students discussed why shelters are important in rain, designed their own rain shelters, and tested to see how they worked. All the shelters protected from rain!

6th grade science students rocked out with this lab! They investigated how the rock cycle forms the different rocks and minerals we have on Earth.

Students in 6th grade social studies classes with Mrs. Tribble began “March Book Tournament Madness.” Each day, two books will be read. While students listen they draw a picture, list a detail from each book, and vote 1-5 stars for each book. Books with the most stars move up in the bracket.
