About Christine Lewis, Assistant Principal

Hello Marshall Primary School Teddy Bears!  My name is Christine Lewis, and this is my 20th year in education.  My desire is to make Marshall Primary the best school for our students.  I love working in a school where we get to make learning come alive for every child.  We want every student to be successful academically, socially, physically and emotionally, which will prepare them to be successful adults.  It is a privilege to serve as your Assistant Principal, and work alongside so many dedicated teachers and staff, amazing students and parents, and supportive community on a daily basis.

Prior to serving here at Marshall Primary, I served as an Instructional Coach in Greenville County, a Literacy Coach in Spartanburg Two, and a primary and elementary teacher in Anderson One, Anderson Five, and Spartanburg Two.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from North Greenville University in 2002, my Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Furman University in 2005, my certification in Elementary School Leadership from Furman University in 2008, and my Education Specialist in School Leadership from Furman University in 2016.  I was also privileged to serve as a National Board Certified Teacher.

I have an amazing family that supports me on a daily basis.  My husband Alex and I have 3 children - Ansleigh, Levi, and Charlie.  Our children keep us busy through their involvement in music, dance, soccer, and basketball.

I look forward to another wonderful year, full of learning and fun!
